90WEAR makes Cyber Y2K jewelry and accessories for people who miss the good part of the 90s and early 2000s — necklaces, rings, earrings, charms, phone charms, hair clips, scrunchies, sunglasses and bags. Chrome, holo, acid green, electric blue, pixel hearts. All of the nostalgia, none of the dial-up.
The little pixel heart that meant “one more try”
The games we grew up on had them: a row of tiny hearts in the corner of the screen. Lose one, keep going. Lose them all, hit continue anyway, because that’s just what you did.
That heart is the whole brand in one icon. It’s cute, sure. It also means something: starting over is normal, and the stuff you loved at nine years old is allowed to come back. Nostalgia you can wear. The 90s, respawned.
What we stand for
Honest materials, even when honesty is less catchy
Many of our pieces are 316L stainless steel — the grade often called surgical steel. It’s hypoallergenic, it shrugs off water and sweat, and it won’t leave the green mark that cheap copper-heavy alloys can.
Here’s the part most stores quietly skip: 316L is not technically nickel-free. It contains nickel, tightly bound inside the alloy, which is exactly why it sits fine on most sensitive skin. If you have a diagnosed nickel allergy, you deserve to know that before you check out, not after.
Gold-tone pieces are gold plating over a 316L core. With care, that plating generally lasts somewhere in the range of 6 to 24 months, depending on how often you wear it, your skin chemistry, and what you put it through. It does not last forever, and nothing we sell “never tarnishes.” If someone promises you forever, they’re selling, not telling.
Premium, but never precious
This isn’t fine jewelry you keep in a box for weddings. It’s the good stuff you actually put on to go to class, to work, to the store at 11pm. We’d rather make one solid piece you wear a hundred times than ten flimsy ones you wear once.
Cyber Y2K with heart, not a costume
There’s a version of this aesthetic that reads as a Halloween kit. We’re not doing that. Our pieces are designed to sit next to your everyday gold hoops and your beat-up hoodie without asking for permission. The reference is there if you know. If you don’t, it just looks good.
How we’re different
- We tell you exactly what things are made of. We name the metal and the plating, and we spell out the tradeoffs in Materials & Care. No mystery “alloy.” No myths.
- Built to be lived in. Solid 316L handles the shower, the gym and a sweaty commute without drama. Plated pieces are tougher than you’d expect, and they last longest when you keep them away from chlorine, salt water, perfume and long soaks. We tell you which is which.
- A real safety net. US orders ship with tracking. Standard shipping is free on US orders over $35; under that, a flat rate shows at checkout before you pay a cent. And you get 30 days from delivery to change your mind — see Returns for the details. The one exception is pierced earrings, which are final sale for hygiene reasons unless they arrive faulty.
Who’s actually behind this
90WEAR is owned and operated by V3 DIGITAL MARKETING S.A.C., RUC 20613695452 — a company registered in Peru that runs the ninetywear.com store. We’re a small team building a brand on the internet, not a corporation with a slide deck about authenticity. Right now we ship to the United States only, and every price on the site is in US dollars.
We’re doing this in order, on purpose: get the materials right, get shipping and returns right, then get loud. When we don’t know something yet, we say so instead of inventing a number. If we ever get it wrong, we’d much rather hear it straight from you — the FAQ covers the common stuff, and when it doesn’t, contact us and a human will read it.
